Terms of Service
Last updated: 27 August 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and SchedGo ("SchedGo", "we", "us"), the provider of the SchedGo social calendar application and website (the "Service"). By creating an account or continuing to use the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who you are contracting with
The Service is provided by SchedGo. Where you sign up on behalf of an organisation, school club or team, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation. If you are signing up as an individual, you confirm you are of legal age to form a binding contract in your country of residence.
2. The Service
SchedGo lets you create and organise events (classes, hangouts, study sessions, deadlines and personal plans), RSVP with Going / Maybe / Can't Go, form groups, share an optional general availability status, and use AI assistance to turn plain-language text into calendar events. A paid tier, "SchedGo Plus", unlocks additional features such as unlimited AI quick-adds, best-time suggestions and unlimited groups.
3. Your account
You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to:
- break any applicable law or regulation;
- commit fraud, send spam, or harass, bully, threaten or impersonate anyone;
- infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights;
- interfere with the security or integrity of the Service — including uploading malware, probing or scanning our systems, bypassing rate limits or access controls, or scraping data;
- share another person's location or status information without their knowledge and consent;
- reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the Service or circumvent plan limits.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of the events, group names, messages, comments and other content you add. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process and display that content solely to operate and provide the Service to you and the people you share it with. You are responsible for having the rights to any content you upload.
6. AI features
Some features use automated models to interpret your text and suggest events, times or replies. AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete — always check dates, times and places before relying on them. You are responsible for the prompts you submit and for how you use the output. Do not submit content you do not have the rights to, and do not use the AI features to generate unlawful, deceptive or abusive content. We may filter, refuse or remove output, and may restrict or suspend accounts that misuse these features. If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, contact us and we will review and, where appropriate, remove it; repeat infringement can lead to account termination.
7. Intellectual property
SchedGo retains all rights, title and interest in the Service, including its software, design, documentation and branding. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in line with the plan you have selected.
8. Plans, payment and subscription terms
SchedGo Plus is sold as a monthly or yearly subscription that renews automatically at the end of each billing period until it is cancelled. Prices are shown on our pricing page and may change with notice for future billing periods.
Payment, billing, invoicing, tax, currency, cancellation and refund mechanics are handled by our reseller Paddle and are governed by the Paddle Checkout Buyer Terms. Our Refund Policy also applies.
You can cancel at any time from your billing page in the app. When you cancel, you keep Plus features until the end of the period you have already paid for, after which your account returns to the Free tier. Your events, groups and RSVPs are not deleted when you downgrade.
9. Order process and Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
10. Service availability
We work to keep SchedGo available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free. Features may change, and we may add, modify or remove functionality over time.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay amounts due, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our acceptable use rules. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. On termination your right to use the Service ends; we will give you a reasonable opportunity to export your data where practical, after which your content may be deleted.
12. Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including lost profits, lost data or lost goodwill. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify SchedGo against claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We will update the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, give notice in the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which SchedGo is established, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have locally. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
